Altered Altoids Tins

Hi And Good Afternoon
Got quite a few Altoids Mint Tins Hanging around so I
thought i would have a go at altering them I decided to just papers
on the ones that i altered I used Tim Holtz, Paris nights, Free papers
from a craft magazine, these tins are perfect for little keepsakes, gifts etc.

Tim Holtz Papers  Altered Tin

Used Tim Holtz Paper Stash on this one
Also covered the inside of the tin.
Covered the base and lid of the tin with Mod Podge i like the matte
mod podge i then put the tin on top of the papers and cut around
with a sharpe craft knife to get the correct shape
I cut 4 of these for the inside and outsides.

I just cut out long strips to cover the inside and outside
with the tape measure paper
I got a tub of Vintage buttons which i got for 3.99
from TK Maxx there are about 80-100 in the tub
used one the front of the tin just for decoration .

Inside the tin i cut up some white scrap card and coloured the edges with TH Scattered Straw
Distress ink and stamped a TH Quote on Each Card to go inside the tin to give as a little gift
i also Coloured a few cards and left them blank to use as tiny note cards
great little gift.

Another Altered Altoids Mint Tin

Using the free papers from this months
Simply Card And Paper craft Magazine.

Covered the bottom of the all the tins
and added another vintage style button.

I cut up 2 long strips of white card and done a long card and  scored
along every 2inches and added some backing papers again from the free papers
there are 10 on each side they can be embellished with mini photo's etc
perfect little mini album.

Tim Holtz papers Altered tin.

Done exactly the same as the above tins used TH Clock Theme
Papers and script papers for the inside.

Just added a vintage style button from my tub of buttons.

The papers on this tin are Colourbok Papers.

I altered 6 tins altogether for little gifts as they are all the same
I won't add the other two, I got 2 more tins to alter
I am going to sand them down and paint them ready for stamping
Thank you for visiting.
